Adidas will be showcasing its latest “Paris” Collection at the 2022 French Open featuring a range of simple black and white designs. At first glance, the graphics seem to be tribal symbols, however, the patterns were actually inspired by Parisian plants and nature.
The Dresses
World No.5 Maria Sakkari (shown above) will be wearing the Adidas Paris Wow Dress, a crew-neck design giving a nod to the exotic plants in greenhouses surrounding Roland Garros venue.
The silhouette features side slits and the matching ball shorts have Alphaskin for an adaptive fit that wraps your body for comfort.
Like the Paris Wow Dress, the Adidas Paris Y-Dress with built-in bra features floral cutouts inspired by the surrounding botanical gardens. The bare shoulders and Y-shaped back allow for more freedom of movement. This comes with separate shorties.
The HEAT.RDY technology and soft fabric make these new Adidas dresses super comfortable to wear. What makes the material even more appealing is that it is made from minimum 40% recycled content.
The Separates
The Adidas Paris Y-Tank is another cooling, eco-friendly item in this new collection. Besides the black and white version, the top also comes in pulse aqua, with the eye-catching print on the back. The Adidas Paris Match Skirt features subtle botanical-inspired graphics on the sides.
The Adidas Paris Long-Sleeve Top features a contrast company logo on center chest and celebrates the diversity of the planet along the back. Just like every piece in this collection, this top is made using Parley Ocean Plastic materials in an effort to end plastic waste.
The Shoes
Adidas shoes for the 2022 French Open come in lime green and black. The Adidas Adizero Uber 4 Tennis Shoe has a specific outsole to provide ideal traction on clay courts.
Adidas has recently launched the Adidas Avacourt Tennis Shoe specifically created to adapt to the female foot and complement the style of play of women athletes. The Avacourt is now available in the lime/black color palette as part of the Paris collection.
