Well, the coronavirus is shutting down America faster than we can say “coronavirus”. The only reasons to leave our homes now are to get groceries, and, well… get more groceries.
The really crappy thing is that there’s no tennis to watch. Nada. Zip. Zilch! Even the local leagues have suspended play through late April. People are so afraid of getting together now, I can’t even get a friendly singles game going. It’s so frustrating to suddenly have lots of time on your hands, but you can’t use it to do what you love… that sounds like a new verse to Alanis Morissette’s “Isn’t it Ironic“…

No doubt, most of you are bored just as I am. But here are a couple of peeps who enjoy playing a quick game of kitchen table tennis.
And how ’bout these Austrian players… No better time to practice your backhand volley than when you’re stuck indoors, am I right?
I guess there are still ways we can get in some tennis time. I’m thinking about taking my ball basket up to the neighborhood courts and work on my serve and hit against the wall. And, of course, me and the other editors of Tennis Life Magazine will definitely be adding more awesome articles: strategies and tactics, delicious recipes, health and wellness, and so much more! Check us out! ???
