The show featured a video compilation of the most amusing highlights from the 2019 US Open. However, these were not just any highlights, but specifically the funniest moments from the tennis player interviews.
For his show’s segment, aptly named “Drop It In,” talented comedian Jimmy Fallon challenged the US Open tennis players to include some of the most bizarre phrases one could imagine into their interviews. The phrases included “game set match, do the cabbage patch,” “slap your dad and hold your breath,” and “knowing how to use every part of the kayak.” The results of this prank on the media were nothing short of hilarious!
It amazed me how the players didn’t bat an eye when saying those things. I would have burst out laughing even before I got the words out, lol! And the best part is that the media had no idea they were being played!
