Before starting a home match, I always spin to see who serves first because the butt cap on my doubles partner’s racquet is too faded and worn. I’ve got Prince tennis racquets, so I always said, “P or D”. And at away matches (depending on others’ racquets), I’ll hear the same, or “W or M”, or “mountains or valleys”, etc. If only there was such a thing as racquet spin stickers.
And after a quick google search, I found ’em!
Last week I ordered these AWESOME stickers from Hit Happy Tennis. I even received them in time for my weekly Saturday morning fun match. And this time when I spun to see who serves first, I called “Granny Panties or Thongs!” and my tennis ladies went NUTS! What a great way to start a match, right?!
They’re simple to put on – just peel and stick to the butt of your racquet. They stick really well too. They come in a little two-pack, but company owner Kasey Hammond was a real sweetheart and slipped me a two-pack of “Boxers and Briefs” at no charge. It must have been my lucky day!
